Now that we are coming to the end of our second year of living in Somerset, I keep thinking I’ve seen it all. Well, yesterday I had to think again.
Queuing at the bank I was surprised to see a guy carrying a dog – and I noticed this as I know that no dogs are allowed (I can never bring Bob into town if I need to pop into the bank). Imagine my surprise when his business was completed and he put his dog down. Turned out to be a lamb on a lead!
Stunned, I didn’t think to take a picture but we met again in the market and he very kindly allowed me to take a couple of snaps.
The gorgeous little wooly jumper was very tame and her owner shared that lambs are remarkably easy to train and very loving. He threw in another snippet of information – that he also has a pet goat that sits on his knee when he is driving!
