I was very sad this morning to hear the news that Terry Wogan has passed away and immeidately changed my plans for the subject of this blog.

We are huge fans here at The White House, have written about him previously in this blog, and couldn’t agree more with The Times headline sharing news of his death:

“Much-loved broadcaster who charmed the nation for five decades with his gentle self-deprecating humour and Irish whimsicality”

A sad loss to the nation……
