We had such a lovely weekend at The White House after what originally looked to be a bit of a disappointment.  Original plans to visit our friends in London and see the Rugby were dashed at the last minute as our friend was ill in bed with a very high temperature.  Luckily all worked out ok and Miranda is now, thankfully, on the mend.

The sun was shining and we spent the weekend with our older daughter, Melanie, who had agreed to house sit for us while we were away.  Our bed and breakfast guests were particularly lovely and on Saturday afternoon, after a trip to Wells marketplace, we all started the transformation of our kitchen garden into a nicer looking area.
