Regular readers of this blog will know I have been posting about this superb event.
A few weeks ago I shared information about Somerset’s first food trail event which will take place from Friday 20th July – Sunday 29th July. The event “Taste the Landscape” will be focused on dozens of food producers opening their doors to the public.
It celebrates the best of locally produced food, showcasing farmers and producers as well as retailers, cafes pubs and restaurants and participants range from goat herders, cider makers, dairy farmers, cheese makers, pubs, vineyards, artisan bakers and vegetable growers.
Last week I reported that a website will also be available soon to allow those of you who can’t make the event to order goodies online and you can now find this at https://www.localfooddirect.co.uk/
And as a reminder further details can be found at www.somersetfoodtrail.uk and on their facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/SomersetLocalFood/ which now includes a link to all of their venues.
