At the most unexpected moments, I am reminded of the sheer joy of living in Dulcote and the quality of life we are enjoying in comparison to City living.

Late last night as I was walking Bob, our (now not so small) puppy I looked up and was completely overwhelmed by the beauty of the night sky.

Passers by must have thought me just a little bit strange as I stopped and switched off my torch to stare at the cloudless sky filled with stars, and my husband and son certainly thought I had completely flipped when I returned home to demand they join me in the garden to admire the view.

With absolutely no light pollution (the upside of living in a village where street lamps are dim, as well as few and far between) the view was amazing.
